Sending a request or paying a deposit does not, on its own, lock in a design or a final price. We review your idea, placement, size, references, and budget first, and confirm the details with you before we begin.
Studio Policies
The promises we make each other.
A tattoo appointment is a day of work held in your name — a room, an artist, and a block of time that belongs to no one but you. These are the few policies that let us do that well and keep showing up for the people who trust us with permanent work. We have tried to write them the way we would say them to you in person.
Booking
Booking and deposits
To hold your date we ask for a deposit of 30% of your tattoo’s price, up to $150 — whichever is smaller. It is not an extra charge. It comes straight off the cost of your tattoo and is taken off your final session.
The deposit does two quiet things: it reserves chair time that is now yours and no one else’s, and it tells us you are as invested in the work as we are. Once your idea is accepted and the details are settled, we will confirm the deposit with you before anything is locked in.
Changes & cancellations
If your plans change
Life happens, and we understand that. If you need to move or cancel, we simply ask for at least 72 hours’ notice. With that much warning we can offer the time to someone else and get you rebooked without anyone losing their day.
When an appointment is missed, or changed with less than 72 hours’ notice, here is how it works. It is kept simple, and it only ever steps up if it keeps happening.

The first time
The original deposit stays with the studio for the time that was set aside for you. To book again, a fresh deposit is needed — so in effect the deposit doubles.

A second time
Before we schedule again, the full value of the booked session is paid up front and held as your deposit for that appointment.

A third time
Deposits are forfeited, and we are no longer able to keep you on as a client. We do not say that lightly, and it is always our last resort.
On the other hand, as long as you give us proper notice of 72 hours or more, you can reschedule the same appointment up to five times with no penalty at all. If a sixth change is needed, we ask for the deposit to be doubled to hold the new date.
None of this is written to be cold. When a chair sits empty with no notice, that is a day of work — and the income our families count on — gone with it. These few rules are simply how we keep the lights on, show up rested, and give every person who sits with us our whole focus. Thank you for understanding. It genuinely means a lot to us.
Timing
No-shows and running late
If you are going to be late, just message us. A little lateness is usually fine and we will work around it. But if you arrive with too little time left to finish the session safely and properly, we may have to treat it as a same-day cancellation, because the day was still held for you.
Not showing up at all, with no message, is treated as a missed appointment under the policy above.

Other things worth knowing
Age and ID
Adults 18 and older need a valid government photo ID at every appointment. We can tattoo a client under 18 only in the ways Kentucky law allows: a parent or legal guardian has to be present for the whole appointment, show their own photo ID and proof they are the parent or guardian, and sign written consent for the specific tattoo. Even with all of that in place, the final call is the artist’s, and there is work and placement we will not do on a minor.
Health and safety
Please do not arrive under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and let your artist know about any medical conditions, medications, allergies, or pregnancy. Your artist may pause or decline work when continuing would not be safe, lawful, or true to the agreed design.
Guests
Up to three support people are welcome back in the room with you. Anyone past that is welcome to wait in the lobby or catch up with you afterward. Little ones are better off at home or with someone in the lobby, away from the equipment.
Design and revisions
Your artist designs from your idea and will make reasonable adjustments before tattooing starts. Larger concept changes on the day may need a fresh drawing session and a new appointment.
Touch-ups
If a healed tattoo needs a small touch-up, it is free for the first year. The studio looks at the tattoo and decides whether a touch-up is actually needed. Reworks caused by picking, sun, tanning, or heavy wear are quoted as normal work.
Pricing and payment
Pricing is based on size, detail, placement, and time, and also on whether the work is color or black and grey, the style of the art, how well the area takes ink and how you sit, any skin conditions, and a few other factors your artist will walk you through. Your deposit comes off the total, and the balance is due at the end of the session. Ask us any time which payment methods we take.
Photos and sharing
We often photograph fresh and healed work for our portfolio and social media. Tell your artist if you would rather your tattoo stay private and we will keep it off our pages.
Aftercare
