First day

Wash your hands before touching the tattoo. Leave the bandage on for the time your artist tells you. After removing it, gently wash with mild fragrance-free soap and clean water, pat dry with a clean towel, and apply only a thin layer of the aftercare product your artist recommends.

During healing

Keep the tattoo clean and let it breathe. Wear clean, loose clothing over the area. Do not pick, scratch, peel, or shave over the tattoo. No baths, pools, hot tubs, lakes, or rivers until healed. Avoid direct sun, tanning beds, heavy friction, and dirty environments.

Normal healing

Mild redness, mild swelling, tenderness, light peeling or flaking, and itching as the tattoo settles are all normal parts of the heal.

Policies

Clear expectations before the appointment

A short version of how we work. Our full studio policies cover deposits, rescheduling, cancellations, and no-shows in plain language.

Consultations

Sending a request does not create an appointment or guarantee the studio accepts the project. The studio reviews the idea, placement, size, style, budget, references, and availability before confirming next steps.

Deposits

A deposit of 30% up to $150, whichever is smaller, holds your appointment time and comes off your final session. Read the full deposit policy

Rescheduling & cancellations

We ask for 72 hours’ notice to move or cancel. Late changes and no-shows affect your deposit, and it only steps up if it keeps happening. Read the full policy

Age & ID

Adults 18+ need valid photo ID. Clients under 18 are tattooed only where Kentucky law allows, with a parent or legal guardian present and consenting. Read the full policy

Health and safety

Clients should not arrive under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Artists may decline or stop service when continuing would be unsafe, unlawful, or outside the agreed design.
